About Mexten
Toys that grow with your child.
Mexten is a curated shop of Montessori-inspired and learning toys for kids from 0 to 8 years old. We started with a simple question parents ask every day: “Which toy is actually right for my child right now?”
What we do differently
- Picked by age and skill. Every toy shows the age it fits and the skill it builds, from fine motor and problem solving to early math and creativity.
- Fewer, better toys. We would rather offer a small range of toys kids keep coming back to than a huge catalog of things that end up in a box.
- Safety details up front. Materials, age warnings and care tips are listed on every product page. Read more on our Toy Safety page.
- Play ideas, not just products. Every toy comes with simple “how to play” ideas you can try at home.
A new chapter for Mexten
Mexten.com has been around since 2018. In 2026 the site was relaunched under new ownership with a new focus: thoughtful toys for curious kids. If you shopped with Mexten before and need help with an older order, please email us and we will do our best to point you in the right direction.
