Description
Where did the ball go?
A ball drop box is a classic Montessori material for young toddlers. Your child drops a ball through the hole, it disappears, and then it rolls back out. That simple moment teaches “object permanence”: the idea that things still exist when we can’t see them.
Who it’s for
Made for young toddlers from about 12 months to 3 years who are starting to explore cause and effect.
How it helps development
Aiming a ball at the hole builds hand-eye coordination and grip. Repeating the action over and over, which toddlers love, strengthens focus and helps them predict what will happen next.
Simple by design
One clear activity, natural wood and no batteries or noise: the toy does exactly one thing, so your child can master it.
Safety & materials
Material: wood.
Always supervise young children during play. Check the toy regularly and stop using it if any part is damaged.
